Steps to becoming a certified Level One and Two Rhythmic Movement Training Instructor

To become a Rhythmic Movement Training Certified Instructor you need to have a background in development. This includes being a Brain Gym 101 instructor; Montessori/Early Childhood teacher; Occupational Therapist (with Sensory Integration training); Physical Therapist/physiotherapist.

  • Attend RMT Level One and Two at least three times (preferable with different instructors)
  • Attend RMT Levels Three at least twice each
  • Complete a questionnaire that will be given to you by your mentor.
  • Complete a series of at least nine case studies, one of them is to be a self study over at least six months recording the changes you have noticed in yourself by doing the movements and reflex work.
  • Co-teach RMT Level One and Two at least twice. Or co-teach Level one and two at least once and attend the RMT Instructors classes at least once.
  • Be observed teaching RMT Level One and Two at least once by a RMT Level One and Two observer faculty member
  • Have a good working knowledge of development - e.g. Brain Gym Instructor, Montessori teacher, Occupational Therapist etc
  • Sign an agreement with RMT International

This will allow you to be a member of RMT Level One and Two faculty.

To be a senior observer faculty member you need to teach Level One and Two at least five times, and apply to become senior faculty.

RMT and Dyslexia (Level Three)

There as a moratorium of becoming a Level Three instructor at the present time. It is envisaged that this moratorium will begin to be lifted in 2011.

RMT, Dreams and Inner Healing

At the present time the only instructor for this course is Dr. Harald Blomberg and there is no instructor training the moment

RMT, Facial Reflexes, Language and Bonding

At the present time the only instructor in this class is Moira Dempsey and there is no instructor training at the moment
